What does it really mean to be blessed by God?

I am so blessed...

When I hear people say this they usually continue with a list of great things that just happened to them, such as

new job…pay raise…

great husband…smart or athletic (or both) children…

big house…new car…

good health…etc…

I wonder does that mean that people who don’t have those things are not blessed by God.  I am going to explore what the bible has to say about being blessed by God.

Join me as I seek the answer the questions–

                    What does it mean to be blessed by God? 

                    What does being blessed by God look like in my life?

                    Why does God bless me?

                    What should my response be?
